Since 1722, travellers have found rest here, in a house with warm timber walls, creaking floors, and stories held within its walls.

Utne Hotel opens its doors in April, ready for a new season shaped by reflection, good conversations, and time to slow down. Here you can enjoy thoughtfully prepared food made with local ingredients. In our restaurant, we carry traditions forward, with flavours from Hardanger and meals that reflect the landscape around us.

The Art Annex

Utne Hotel invites you to Kunstanekset, a unique art experience where you can see, feel and buy art in a very special setting. Six artists with connections to Hardanger have each been given a room to characterize with their artistic expression. Here they have chosen the colors of the textiles that harmonize with the art on the walls, from curtains to pillows, and of course the art itself.

The result is six completely different rooms with their own unique character. Here you will find graphics, collage, rose painting, oil and acrylic painting. All works are for sale.
